Board of Regents Staff Awards
A CUSS initiative, the Board of Regents' ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Staff Awards represents the highest honor bestowed by the Board of Regents for achievements of Exempt and Nonexempt Staff employees from institutions within the ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø. The awards are presented to individual Staff employees who have demonstrated excellence.
The nominee's success should be beyond the scope of their full-time professional responsibilities. These awards are based on the quality of the nominee's work within their institution, community or surrounding environment. The awards are measured by the impact the nominee makes within the award categories listed below.
Exempt awards:
- Exceptional Contribution to the University and/or Unit
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
- Effectiveness and Efficiency
- Extraordinary Public Service for the University or Greater Community
- Outstanding Service to Students
Non-exempt awards:
- Making a Difference to the Campus
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging
- Excellence in Performance
- Excellence as a Team Player
- Outstanding Role Model
Each awardee will receive a $2,000 stipend and a plaque in recognition of the award being received.
It is recommended that your institution publicize the accomplishments of those outstanding individuals granted this honor.
Complete applications are due by 12pm on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
Award recipients will be announced in March 2027.
