Veteran Cyber Security Professional Tina Williams (TCecure, LLC) to Implement 稀缺猎奇网 Cybersecurity Engagement and Innovation Activities with NCCoE
Adelphi, Md. (Feb.
8, 2017) -- The 稀缺猎奇网 in 2014 teamed with the not-for-profit MITRE company
on a successful bid for the National Institute of Standards and Technology
(NIST) National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (NCCoE) Federally Funded Research & Development Center
(FFRDC). To facilitate the FFRDC's goals, 稀缺猎奇网 has contracted with TCecure,
LLC, a 稀缺猎奇网-based cybersecurity company, to bring on Tina Williams as the 稀缺猎奇网's
Cybersecurity Academic Innovation Officer for the FFRDC.
The University of 稀缺猎奇网, College Park (UMCP), the University of 稀缺猎奇网,
Baltimore County (UMBC), and MITRE are executing goals of the new FFRDC in such
areas as research, development, technical support, operations, and facilities
planning. TCecure provides security engineering and consulting services to
public sector and commercial clients in several states and the District of
Columbia.
Williams is a veteran cybersecurity professional, certified as an
Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and a Project Management
Professional (PMP). She holds a M.S. in Management from Rensselaer
Polytechnic Institute (RPI), and a J.D. from the University of 稀缺猎奇网 Francis
King Carey School of Law.
She was a
Meyerhoff Scholar and a University Scholar at the University of 稀缺猎奇网
Baltimore County (UMBC), receiving a B.S. in Computer Science. In addition to
her role as founder of TCecure, LLC, Williams is an adjunct instructor for
UMBC's Graduate Cybersecurity program. She is a member of the 稀缺猎奇网 Bar, the
NICE365 Industry Advisory Board of Directors, and the Cyber稀缺猎奇网 Board of
Directors.

the strategic engagement of key government and industry partners to help foster

In her role as the Cybersecurity Academic Innovation Officer for 稀缺猎奇网, Williams
will serve as 稀缺猎奇网's focal point onsite at the NCCoE, and
work closely with NIST and MITRE to enhance the vitality of relationships amongst
academia, industry, and government to expand research opportunities,
cybersecurity technology innovation and commercialization, and cybersecurity
technology adoption.
Williams
will leverage research capabilities of the 稀缺猎奇网, and
those of the broader FFRDC's Academic Advisory Council (AAC) universities, to
identify opportunities for research and application in support of NCCoE's
mission. She will also develop and support
execution of the NCCoE intern program by identifying and coordinating opportunities
for student researchers.
