Media Advisory - Regents' Finance Committee to Host Budget Workshop August 9 August 7, 2001 Regents' Finance Committee to Host Budget Workshop August 9 at ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Office The Committee on Finance of the ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø (ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø) Board of Regents will conduct an operating budget workshop for ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø presidents and other members of the Board of Regents on Thursday, August 9 beginning at 9 a.m. in the Atrium at the ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Office, 3300 Metzerott Road in Adelphi, MD. The session is open to the public. A planned presentation will cover the following: ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø Strategic Plan Accountability efforts Development of the funding guideline for the ϡȱÁÔÆæÍø institutions Proposed Fiscal Year 2003 Current Services Budget and Separate List Request Preliminary Fiscal Year 2003 schedule for tuition and mandatory fees The meeting is being held in preparation for the Finance Committee's August 23 meeting, at which time it is scheduled to adopt operating budget recommendations and a tuition and fee schedule for consideration by the full Board. The recommendations will be considered by the full Board at its August 24 meeting. Full agenda and background information will be available at the meeting.
